Pulse Drop — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Pulse Drop is a single-player game. It has no accounts and no required sign-in. This policy explains the small amount of data the app handles.
Data stored on your device
Your scores, unlocks, awards, streak and settings are saved only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. They are never uploaded.
Anonymous usage data
To improve the game — tuning difficulty, finding crashes — Pulse Drop sends a small amount of
information to our own server at playpulsedrop.com. No third-party analytics company is
involved, and no advertising identifier is ever read. When enabled, the following is sent:
- Gameplay events (for example: a run started, a run ended with a score, a theme was equipped)
- App events (app opened, screen viewed, settings changed)
- Crash reports and diagnostic information if the app crashes
- Crash reports: the type of error, its first line, and a few lines of code location — never a full memory dump
- The country your request arrived from, derived from your IP address and nothing finer
- A random player id that your device generated. It is not derived from your device, your
Google account, or any advertising identifier, and it does not survive deleting the app
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or any personal identifiers.
Your choice
You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. When it is off, nothing is sent.
Leaderboards
If you submit a score, your chosen display name, your score and a compact recording of that run
are stored so the run can appear on the leaderboard and be replayed by other players. Your
display name is the only thing other people see, and you choose it.
Retention and deletion
We keep events for 14 months. To have everything associated with your player id deleted, email
the address below with your recovery code, or simply delete the app — the id lives only on your
device and nothing else points back to you.
Advertising
*This section applies only to versions of the app that show ads. If the app never offers you
an ad, none of this is collected.*
Pulse Drop shows rewarded video ads only — ads you choose to watch in exchange for
something, by tapping a button that says what you get. There are no banner ads and no ads that
interrupt play.
Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect a device advertising identifier and
limited app-interaction data to select and measure ads. In the EU, UK and Switzerland you are
asked for consent the first time, through Google's consent form, and you can change your
answer at any time in Settings → Support → Ad privacy choices.
Buying Pulse Drop Pro removes all ads permanently.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details.
What you have bought is recorded on your device, and on our server only if you have signed in.
Third parties
Gameplay and crash data goes only to our own server. Ads, when shown, are served by Google
AdMob, and purchases are processed by Google Play, each under Google's privacy policy
(https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not sell your data and we do not share it with
anyone else.
Children
Pulse Drop is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated and the new version published at the same address.
